Just a little bit about our journey in the freight industry and how Allied Transport was formed.
Allied Transport was started in June of 1993 by partners Rob Mordaunt and Lance Rudd. Our 28 years in the market specialising on the Durban – Johannesburg route, compounded with our hands on approach gives us the edge on our competitors when it comes to service, which beyond any argument, is our product. Our variety of vehicles enables us to cater for our client’s, sometimes most complex and urgent requirements efficiently and with great ease.
We offer a daily comprehensive Breakbulk and full load service between all main centres running on a next day basis to regions within 1000km radius and 48 hours to main centres further afield. All our vehicles are fitted with satellite tracking devices and are monitored by both a control room and ourselves.
We are centrally based in Pinetown, Durban and our Johannesburg depot is based in Boksburg, just 5 minutes from the OR Tambo Airport. Our long distance fleet consists of late modelled tautliner superlinks which have entire side length entry for easy handling.
